(And they look pretty good too)
It feels amazing. When inspiration strikes and you get that buzz of excitement that’s hard to explain. A creative idea’s arrived and you just know it’s a good one.
Except... the next part gets tricky. How do you bring your idea out into the world?
It’s not your fault. You started this journey with the best intentions. You just didn’t have the right paper notebook by your side.
Whether you’re changing the world, or simply changing your world, this is where you’ll find the tools to bring your ideas to life.
We’re Yop and Tom. Two friends from London who came together with one big goal in mind - to help people like you fulfil your potential.
Because life’s too short to spend it dreaming, wishing and hoping. You should be living out those dreams, and that’s exactly what our notebooks help you do.
These days, you can find Joppe up in Cambridgeshire where he lives with his wife and two young daughters. After he left his corporate job in London, Joppe got back in touch with his creative side, writing an illustrated children’s book before diving into the world of Yop & Tom.
“My biggest goal is building a business that brings positive change to people's lives, whilst dealing with the everyday challenges of being a dad. I work from home, juggle the demands of two young children and my wife has a busy job as well, so we try and split things very equally. It can be hard to focus and give everything (and everyone!) your full attention at the same time, but I do my best. It can be a bit of a madhouse sometimes.
But when we all sit and draw something together on paper, peace and quiet returns. The slower pace calms everyone down. It always amazes me how you’re actually more productive at work after you’ve disconnected like this for a while.
When I’m not at my laptop (or planner) you can find me at the gym in a spin class or playing tennis. Of course, life’s about balance so I follow that up by coming home and opening up a good bottle of wine!”

Tom's Rescue Dog Theo
Tom can be found in South East London, where he lives with his fiancé and rescue dog Theo.
“Aside from working on Yop & Tom, I’m a keen cyclist. I’ve set myself the goal of getting fitter and in shape, both physically and mentally. It’s the one time I get where I’m completely disconnected from my phone, emails and work.
I can focus on something else entirely and it’s really satisfying cycling further and faster.
I can’t wait for travel to start up again. Fingers crossed, my fiancé and I will have a honeymoon to go on soon and I’ll be able to get back into snowboarding!”

Looking to try bullet journaling?
This (free) guide walks you through bullet journaling for beginners. It’ll help you live a more intentional life, with everything you need to get started.
We know that you’re always learning, evolving and improving. We are too.
That’s why our journals and goal planners are totally unique, with smart systems to make big things happen. So many of us do the same thing over and over, only to expect different results.
But... what if there’s another way? We ask ourselves that question every day, so we can design premium paper notebooks that work.
We look to science, aesthetics, psychology and research-backed planning methods. And then we break those down into easy-to-use systems. Systems that work for real people in real life.
So you can have the freedom to dream, with the structure to make it happen.

It all started back in 2019 when we (that’s us, Yop & Tom) were just two friends working in London’s hectic corporate world.
Life was busy, we were always running from one meeting to the next, trying to juggle work with family and attempting to have a social life.
Things were good. But they could’ve been better.
Whenever we had a moment to pause (usually 50 metres underground on a packed commute), we noticed this big-huge-glaringly-obvious disconnect. And once we’d noticed it, it was hard to ignore.
We all have big dreams. But life gets so busy we run out of time to make them happen.
Rather than moving forwards with purpose, we were simply trying to hold down the chaos.
Our days were filled with distractions. Endless notifications, emails flying in faster than we could send them out, a million and one tabs and little hands tugging at our sleeves for attention that we just couldn’t refuse.
Finding focus was almost impossible. Until... we turned it all off.
When we muted those notifications, turned off the digital devices and shut ourselves in a quiet room with a paper notebook for half an hour, something pretty special happened.
Our imagination started up again. We could figure out what we wanted to achieve, set ourselves goals that were actually doable and put a plan together for when we re-entered that busy world again.
It was one of those classic lightbulb moments.
That, as they say, is how it all began.Explore The Collection
We soon started designing tools to make reconnecting with those big goals and creative imagination easier for other people. People who have dreams and aspirations of all different shapes and sizes but who lacked the focus and systems to make them come to life.
Each paper notebook is designed to help empower you, restore your sense of creativity and take back control of your life.
So that you can live with less chaos and more purpose. And, finally, see your dreams make their way out into the world.
Because life’s too short not to.
We know that when something looks good, you’re going to feel good using it. That’s why we make good design a priority for all our paper notebooks.
We know that paper has power, it lets you unplug from distractions and plug into your imagination instead. Buck the trends and let your creativity run free.
You could be planning a multi-million dollar business. Or you could be dreaming of learning how to (finally) bake a cake. Either way, we’re over the moon about supporting you. Because every adventure matters.
Whether you’re a creative bullet journaler or an avid goal setter, every paper notebook is designed with intention. So that you can take those big dreams and bring them to life.
Whilst we love doing our planning offline we love to come online to connect with other planners through the planning and journaling community.

“I’m notebook obsessed and this has to be one of my favourites - such amazing quality and just plain beautiful to look at and to touch. I genuinely look forward to writing in it every morning. I even went out and bought fancier pens because it's just way too nice for a biro.”
"I spent hours looking for the right planner suitable for my needs and this is perfect! It has year view, monthly view and weekly one, so it allows you to plan ahead and, while planning, focusing on your goals. It's extremely useful also the presence of some space for reflections - what you can improve, what it did/did not go well, etc. At the end of the planner there is a blank section just for notes. It's totally what I wanted! And last but not least, the green leather is excellent. Totally recommended!"
“Amazing journals! Perfect for bullet journaling and the paper is such good quality. I will most likely be using these journals for my bullet journals from now on. I’ve never found anything this good!”
“I had been looking at the hundreds of different bullet journal styles on offer everywhere. My focus was on a dotted spread with paper thick enough to cope with felt tips and brush pens without bleeding through. This one is perfect. The pages are really crisp and the quality of both the paper and the book itself is excellent. Delighted to also buy from a British company."
